Alpine Summer 2008

Spring is finally with us after more snow fell in April than in January  & February…something to bear in mind for next years ski/snowboard holiday if you’re planning an April visit - it is well worth it!

For the coming summer we are proud to offer two apartments in two stunning Chalets. One in Langwies in a great rural location  & one in Arosa a short walk from the lake.

We are currently taking bookings for both these properties for Winter 08/09 as well.

The quality of Summer in the Alps is a local secret with temperatures in The Rhine Valley often over 30C and up in the resorts in the pleasant 20s.

The local lakes at Arosa, Lenzerheide & Flims/Laax  (The Cresta & Cauma Lakes) provide the focal point for most visitors with a wealth of hiking &  mountain biking trails in the vicinity.

For the more adventurous river rafting on The Rhine or The Inn is an option as well as paragliding from or climbing on the surrounding peaks.

The Natural World is a picture in the Spring with The Alpine Flowers & breathtaking during the Autumnal Fall. Wildlife enthusiasts can see the herds of wild deer, golden eagles, marmots, Capricorns and if very lucky even Lynx.
