As the Lenzerheide Winter season's final day is on the 19th April it's time to turn our attention towards Spring & Summer in the mountains.
With nearly 2 weeks of uninterrupted sunshine - and temperatures of close to 30c in the valley the snow is melting & thoughts turn to summer and mountain biking, para gliding, lakeside chilling, barbeques and of course being warm again !
The local outdoor heated swimming pool is on our doorstep, open from late May to early September...and the Lenzerheide lake complete with summer lido is just over the ridge.
 The Lodge, ideal for a swiss summer break The Worlds' longest Rodelbahn is a short walk away. The chairlift elevates you in 7 minutes to the "climbing park" and then starts the exhilerating descent on the Rodelbahn that stretches for 3.1 km, through 31 bends and a vertical drop of 480m.!!  The Rodelbahn is not just for children but allows adults to be kids again for the day !
 The Churwalden Tennis Courts are also a stroll from The Lodge , price CHF18- per hour.
Our local resort of Pradischier www.pradaschier.ch opens on May 30 through until October 25th aswell as a special opening for Ascension Day Bank Holiday weekend May 22 - 25
But not to forget for guests staying at The Lodge that reduced price liftpasses can be included with your accommodation...  As for Mountainbiking the possibilities are endless. Be it using the lifts for awesome downhill runs or using the 305 km of signposted cycling tracks and over 1,000 km of GPS tours that lead to the most beautiful spots in the Lenzerheide bike region. There's a tour for all cycling styles: from easy to extreme, gentle to sporty, family tour to 100 km marathon tour. Various maps are available to make your biking experience in the Lenzerheide holiday region just perfect.

And plenty of hiking and walking opportunities for young and old alike...culminating with the Graubuenden Marathon on June 27th.
But for most a weekend stroll around the lake, up to the Churer Joch from Parpan, down from the Rothorn or over to Arosa is the perfect way to see the stunning landscapes and views.
