Learn to ski or snowboard
In all of Snowmotions resorts we are happy to arrange ski or snowboard school with the local schools or with our own private instructors. Equipment, lift passes and instruction will be included in the price with the prices varying slightly from resort to resort. Email info@snowmotions.com or visit the relevant resorts website for details.

Generally for beginners we advise half days to begin with as well as a rest day before moving on to full days tuition.
For those that have never snowboarded we guarantee that if you are relatively fit (and barring injury) you should be able to get down most slopes within 4 to 7 days.
For those learning to ski, a similar time frame is advisable, possibly taking a few more days.
Before learning to ski or snowboard, building up leg strength as well as the upper body is advisable. The two best forms of exercise to target these areas are swimming and cycling.
Snowmotions private instructors/guides … all fluent in English.

Piste Guides
These are a variety of experienced, responsible local characters who will have obtained the minimum avalanche safety certificate requirements to be able to guide Snowmotions clients around the pistes (and not off piste) in any of our resorts that we operate in.
Strongly recommended for the larger resorts (especially Flims/Laax, St. Moritz, Davos, Arosa and Lenzerheide)
And highly recommended in poor visibility and on day one or two of your holiday in order to familiarise yourself with the area.
It doesn’t matter how good a skier or snowboarder you are if you don’t know the terrain! Our guides will know how to avoid the crowds, find the best quality snow, select the runs best suited to your ability and hopefully keep you out of the wind and harms way. You will be provided with 2 way radio links as standard communication back up.
