The Lodge at 1240 m is located at the top of town 100 meters from the chairlifts to the main Staetzerhorn section of The Lenzerheide resort & Churwaldens’ own Pradaschier ski area.
The shops & supermarket in Churwalden are also only a short walk from the property.

A wooden “chalet style” 1st floor houses the 5 bedrooms & the massage/reading room. Three triple single bedrooms & two twin rooms that can sleep up to 13 guests.

The largest bedroom has an en suite shower with the other 4 bedrooms having wash basins & sharing the shower on the landing as well as a shower on the ground floor. Two toilets are on the 1st floor & separate ladies & gents toilets on the ground floor.

The Ground floor hosts a large dining area, kitchen, bar & living room with flat screen TV, DVD, Sky Satellite & beanbag-loungers to relax in. (Your hosts Holly & Dave have their own separate apartment behind the kitchen.)

The Lodge is centrally heated & hot water is on constant re-heat mode for the showers.

In summer enjoy sitting out on the terrace or using the barbeque area. There is also a secure bike storage area and ample car parking spaces.

The Worlds Longest Rodelbahn and "Climbing Park" are the highlight of the local Pradaschier resort with the chairlift open May 30th - October 25th and only 3 mins walk from The Lodge.

The Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts are located right behind The Lodge and The shops & supermarket are also a short walk from the property.

Summer Pricing

For Spring, Summer & Autumn The Lodge can be booked on a per room & person per night basis or for groups & families for sole occupancy.

With sole occupancy self catered bookings you may use the fridge, microwave, kettle and large dining area as well as the outside barbeque/grilling area but NOT the kitchen due to strict Swiss Health & Safety regulations as we operate The Lodge as a catered chalet during the winter months.

It is closed to the public and you have the property to yourselves..as well as up to 9 all area Lift Passes for your groups use.

However when The Lodge is not booked for Sole Occupancy the Cafe-Bar is open daily from Weds - Sunday and remaining rooms are available on a per person basis.

Continental: Breakfast is an Extra CHF9- & Dinner in July & August an Extra CHF15- pperson.

Local Resort Tax of CHF2.75- per person per night

Between July and August a daily "self serve" buffet breakfast will be available with tea, coffee, cereals and freshly baked croissants & bread.

The Bar will stock a good variety of spirits & mixers, local Beers & Italian, French & Spanish wines at reasonable prices. But we plan to take a pioneering stance with regards to local Swiss laws and offer guests the chance to bring their own wines & beers (BYO) for a small corkage fee.

Airport transfers (1.5hrs) –160chfs (£35 each way) per person return, from Zurich or Friedrichshafen airport to the lodge door. Alternatively, take the Train/Bus – 100chfs / £55 p/p return (need to land by 8pm). Please visit our swiss airport transfer page for more info.

Payments can be made in £ Sterling or Swiss Francs CHFs by International Bank transfer using Swift code & IBAN no.

The Price is based on The Swiss Franc price. Check the exact exchange rate on the day of transfer based on the Swiss Franc Price advertised.
