"The Lodge" Churwalden, Lenzerheide

The Lodge at 1240 m is located at the top of town 100 meters from the chairlifts to the main Staetzerhorn section of The Lenzerheide resort & Churwaldens’ own Pradaschier ski area.
The shops & supermarket in Churwalden are also only a short walk from the property.
A wooden “chalet style” 1st floor houses 5 bedrooms & the massage/reading room. Three triple single bedrooms & two twin rooms.
The largest bedroom has a shower & basin with the other 4 bedrooms having wash basins & sharing the shower on the landing as well as a shower on the ground floor. Two toilets are on the 1st floor & separate ladies & gents toilets on the ground floor.
Furthermore, we offer a large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom/bath/shower & WC (on the ground floor).
The Lodge can sleep up to 15 guests.
The Ground floor hosts a large dining area, kitchen, bar & living room with flat screen TV, DVD, Sky Satellite & beanbag-loungers to relax in.
“The Boardroom” in the below garage is home to the workshop for in house ski & board services with another separate ski & board storage room in the basement.
The Lodge is centrally heated & hot water is on constant re-heat mode for the showers.
Food & Drink
A daily "self serve" buffet breakfast will be available with tea, coffee, cereals and freshly baked croissants & bread.
The evening menu with a starter will include pasta dishes, curries, fondue, meat & vegetables, stews, pizza & local specialities to name but a few.
When booking we will try to meet all your dietary requirements especially for Vegetarians. Just inform us what you require well in advance.
The Bar will stock a good variety of spirits & mixers, local Beers & Italian, French & Spanish wines at reasonable prices. But we plan to take a pioneering stance with regards to local Swiss laws and offer guests the chance to bring their own wines & beers (BYO) for a small corkage fee.

We will reopen The Lodge on Friday 3rd December and will be offering Season Opening Special prices of FREE ACCOMMODATION when paying for a daily ski lift pass from Dec 3rd – Dec 10th .
The weekend 11 - 12 December we will be hosting our 1st Avalanche Safety Course of The Season. 9 places are available at only CHF220- per person
The Price includes Bed & Breakfast accommodation for the night of Sat 11 December at the Lodge. Instructors fees and a ski lift pass for Sat 11 & Sun 12 Dec.
The week Thursday 16th - Thursday 23rd is a truly fantastic week to come. We're offering free accommodation- but guests only need pay for their food (30 CHF / day!) - half board! The mountain is fully open on the 18th December! Lift passes also at reduced rates!

For 2010/11 We have kept our half board prices the same as for the 09/10 Winter Season but we are requesting that ALL Lodge sole occupancy bookings must pay for all the 9 reduced price ski lift passes @ CHF260- each Totalling CHF2340-
Below prices based on Per Person, Per night, based on twin occupancy Half Board.
CHF95- for room with ensuite shower
CHF80- for shower on landing.
Sole Occupancy Price Includes:
* Accommodation for up to 15 guests.
* Three triple single bedrooms and three twin
bedrooms (plus an overflow room)
* Breakfast buffet and dinner & local resort taxes.
This does not include flights, airport transfers or lift passes.
Ski Lift Passes:
CHF260- per person for a Lenzerheide all area 6 day pass instead of CHF309- (up to 9 available at the discounted price)
CHF55- per person for an all area Lenzerheide 1 day pass instead of CHF69- (up to 9 available at the discounted price)
The reductions above are based on availability.

Airport transfers (1.5hrs) –160chfs (£35 each way) per person return, from Zurich or Friedrichshafen airport to the lodge door.

Payments can be made in £ Sterling or Swiss Francs CHFs by International Bank transfer using Swift code & IBAN no.
The Price is based on The Swiss Franc price. Check the exact exchange rate on the day of transfer based on the Swiss Franc Price advertised.
